Terminal Train Daze is a top down game for mobile. The game is about operating a train yard. I was responsible for the levels design, gameplay, and parts of the menu. Art done by Joryson Rivera.
The goal of the game is to successfully navigate the trains through the yard without causing a backup. The player has control of the yards intersections.
With each phase (time of day) the speed of the trains increase and they appear more often. This is all done on the same ratio.
There are currently ten levels that are part of the first world.
-All levels have three phases to them
Each phase makes the game faster
-Complete the first phase to unlock the next level
There are high scores for all levels
Stats are updated when the player achieves a new high score
At the end of each game it shows your score, high score and the amount of stars achieved. The stars are based on what phase of the game the player lasted to.
There is a store that allows players to buy new trains with in game currency that is earned within the game.
This currency is earned by successfully getting trains through the yard.
